I am fed up with telemarketers. We receive an average of three calls per night and even on Sunday afternoons. I used to be courteous and tell them I wouldn't be interested. I have found they either continue with their sales pitch or hang up on me. I have not found any who don't get very rude once they find out they will not make a sale. I have tried telling them to remove me from their calling list and it seems they are being taught to hang up before you can verify they are removing your name. When they call back, they say they have no record of you asking to be removed. We have purchased caller I.D. at a monthly cost of $9.50 per month to screen these calls and I will never buy anything over the phone. I would like to see unsolicited calls banned completely.
