    Government Seeks Civil Contempt Against Alpine Industries
    The Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice filed a motion in Federal Court on April 11 to hold Alpine Industries, its president William J. Converse, its vice president Michael Jackson, and a related company, EcoQuest International, all of Greeneville, Tennessee, in civil contempt of a Court order issued in January 2000.

    Final Approval Granted in FTC Consent Agreement with Nation's Largest Trucking 'Fleet Card' Issuer
    The Federal Trade Commission has given final approval to a consent agreement with Ceridian Corporation and its subsidiary Comdata Holdings Corporation, the nation's largest provider of commercial credit cards known as "trucking fleet-cards," that addresses the anti-competitive effects resulting from Ceridian's consummated acquisitions of NTS Corporation and Trendar Corporation.
