Horizontal Merger Guidelines Review Project. The Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice will hold the fourth workshop in a series of five joint public workshops to explore the possibility of updating the Horizontal Merger Guidelines that are used by both agencies to evaluate the potential competitive effects of mergers and acquisitions. The fourth workshop will be held at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. Each event is free and open to the public, and there will be no pre-registration.
