Dear Chairperson:

It has come to attention of the body that there is an attempt to
change the meaning of the "Made in the USA" label found in
products. At the meeting last night the following items were
discussed and passed:

     1. That we go on record as opposed to any changes in the
meaning of the label.

     2. That we state our opposition to the F.T.C. In letter
 form.

     3. That we ask for a response and the Commission's
 feeling on the subject.

     4. That we notify all of our congressional representatives
about our feelings on the subject.

If you would please send a reply to me on the attempts to change
the label and your agency's position on them I can so inform the
body. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in this
matter for us.
