Re: Made in USA Labeling

To Whom It May Concern:

I believe that foreign parts and raw materials in products with final assembly or production of finished goods in the USA should be permitted to be labeled "Made in the USA." This ultimately will protect more U.S. jobs. If any components of non-US origin result in the inability to use this label, then companies will only be encouraged to move final assembly/production off-shore.

If necessary, products of 100% American material could be labeled "100% American Content." Continuing to require no foreign materials or components in order to label "Made in the USA" is becoming extremely difficult to monitor. But more importantly, in the evolving global economy it could encourage more final production overseas (or just across the border) creating loss of even more American jobs.
