I am writing to express my concern on the proposal to amend the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule. Clearly obtaining an e-mail address does not prove that a parent has given consent to allow children to share personal information with an outside source. A six year old could unkowningly give out such information. This proposal only benefits the companies and corporations, and does nothing to benefit the child. Children do not have the maturity to realize what information should remain private. I urge you to veto the proposal. Sincerely, Liana Laughlin
