Subject: "Procedures to Enhance the Accuracy and Integrity of Information Furnished to Consumer Reporting Agencies, Project No. R611017." One particular problem I have had with credit reports is when I see credit cards reported on them that I have never applied for or owned. I have one in particular, I found on an Equifax report, when I told the credit company that I wanted the card canceled, they told me they could not "find the card number in our system." So then they said they couldn't cancel it. I don't know if I'm supposed to file a claim with all the 3 credit agencies saying there is inaccurate information on my report, or not.
