I have been a victim of identification theft multiple times. In my opinion, all law enforcement officers should never let anyone go unless they were proven by a Driver's License or State I.D. to be who they really are. If they are unable to present a photo identification of the aforementioned type, they should be taken into custody and go back to the police station and be held until it is proven that the accused person is proven by a photograph with the BMV to be who they say they are. I was told that in Columbus, Ohio, the law enforcement officers are actually able to look up the photo I.D. from their cruiser. Thank you. With great respect, Don Fligor
