The alcohol beverage industry and its advertisers have routinely marketed its beverages to underaged minors. Such shameless marketing to impressionable underaged minors is not only unethical but irresponsible and in a word, immoral. I urge all Federal agencies to scrupulously monitor the activities of Alcohol Beverage Advertisers for violations of unlawful advertising. I further request that these same monitoring agencies review all research dollars funded by this industry, for they are responsible for much erroneous research to date, misleading millions into thinking that drinking alcohol is safe and merely a form of entertainment. Alcohol is a dangerous, brain-altering drug which ruins the lives of all it touches.
