Dear FTC As for your proposed rules for Network Marketing. I have been a full time networker for over 20 years. As with any industry there are companies that adhere to the rules and companies that are outright scams. The companies I have associated with offer a great product and and a business opportunity that has the possibility that people can change their lives. As with anything that takes effort. I have seen hundreds of people better themselves by being associalted with these good companies. If a person buys into the possibility of making additional income, and then determeines that this was not for them, Any good company will refund their money or a good portion of it. As a matter of fact we already have laws to protect consumers in that regard. The 3 day rule for a credit purchase. And the rules for Networking marketing comapnies that says they must offer refunds. And in additon the credit card companies protect the consumer from fraud as well. Adding additonal rules that make it more difficult to do business only puts down the "littel guy" trying to get out of the rat race by working a viable side business. It seems your agency has to make more and more rules to justify it's existence. We Americans do not need more regulations. There is plenty of consumer protection out there already. Gregg Adair
