My purpose is to express my strong opposition to the proposed Business Opportunity Rule R511993. As an Independent Shaklee Distributor, I don't feel that we use any unfair or deceptive acts or practices. All of the proposed rules would be such an administrative burden to all Shaklee distributors as well as 'scaring off' potential new business builders. I am certainly not comfortable with other Shaklee people giving out my personal information to everyone looking into Shaklee - you have no idea who they really are. This bill, in my opinion, would absolutely be the demise of network marketing in general; this would be so sad as it is one of a very few professions where we are all equal -- every single distributor (in Shaklee, anyway) has an equal chance to honestly earn as much money as they want as long as they are willing to put in the time and effort needed to get there.
