I have been in direct sales for over 12 years. Running my business ethically and honestly and with great success! I love it!! I disclose accurate info about what we make in income, can make and all other info to prospective team members. I train, I support and I let my team members know what to expect from me. However if you innundate new people with confusing information and too much info that doesn't pertain to them and by doing so, confusing them and scaring them, its human nature to be scared away from something that is new and unfamiliar. IF there are businesses that are encouraging their consultants NOT to share impt information, I would like to see individual businesses dealt with. In our business, we can disclose the all of the accurate information and recruit. Its the business plan and business that should be looked at and connected with. PLEASE don't punish all of us, because of a few bad apples. You can propose this ruling for individual businesses corporate offices to deal with it with their OWN consultants, training in a way that shares ACCURATE info with prospective consultants. If this is not a part of their training, then I do believe it should be! But for those of us that deal respectfully and honestly, this will create confusion. I think that the most important thing for consultants to do is be HONEST about their business. It is the only way to conduct business. However, the corporate office with each individual business should be TRAINING this way, teaching their consultants what to say and what not to say, so that only accurate attainable information is given. The best way to make sure this is done is to go directly to each company. Direct sellers are unique from other businesses in the sense that we have a parent company that does oversee what we do. They set guidelines and train in the way they need to. Modifications can always be made, if need be. But punishing all of us, will affect those not guilty of any wrongdoing at all. And that is simply not fair! Please reconsider how this will affect us and find another way to accomplish your goal. I love our business and good people should not be penalized, because we are doing our business the way it should be. Honestly and ethically. Please reconsider!!
