As an independent business owner in the Synergy Worlwide system, I am concerned that adoption of the proposed rule R511993 will have a strongly negative effect on my business. The public needs and deserves protection from fraudulent business schemes, but this rule paints all multi-level marketing business with the same broad brush. Waiting periods, onerous paperwork requirements, and government-mandated notifications are unnecessary and onerous burdens on a one-person business such as myself. These proposed requirements will also discourage people from joining network businesses, thereby having a strong negative effect on my business and income prospects. In short, it would be an unwarranted and unwelcome government intrusion into legitimate private business. Thank you for your consideration of these comments.
