I think this rule is long past due. It amazes me how long business opportunities have been able to exist without this type of legislation, truly. Just as you would expect full disclosure before purchasing a home or a car (and you would have legal recourse if that did not occur), the same should hold true for these type of businesses. Going into a company, especially a multi-level marketing company, which I believe this rule targets, without knowing full well what lies ahead of you is unfair. It puts people in a horrible state of inflated debt and emotional turmoil. It's about time full disclosure rules applied to business opportunities.
