I have been a PartyLite consultant for 6 years. I am now in the leadership program and am very proud of the income with PartyLite. I have been happy with this company since day one and have actually never had any employment this long. I don't know how things would have turned out for me and my family if I did not have this employment option to bring a consistent income in to my family and stay home with my children. I am thankful that you are working to help legitamize direct sales companies and support your efforts. I do hope you will consider the 7 day wait period and the provision of references as it will create a lot of difficult administrative work and book keeping. PartyLite offers free meetings where I before I was a new consultant got a chance to talk to many consultants before I joined. Also we offer a buy back policy at 90% the value if a consultant wants to quit. Even though most don't pay a dime for their kit, the company is still that generous. Again thank you for your efforts and I hope your policies will pass without unnescessary restrictions that will harm us entreprenuers who have been so blessed by legitimate companies.
