Regarding R511993--ARE YOU PEOPLE CRAZY? We little citizens who sell jewelry, candles, toys, and cosmetics are NOT THE ENEMY!! This proposed regulation does nothing to protect the public from the truly unscrupulous, but it CRIPPLES small business, especially small women-owned business! If there is someone out there who feels they have gotten a bad deal by getting into some business or other, they have plenty of recourse--it's called GET OUT/DON'T RENEW/LET IT GO. We humans will make plenty of little mistakes during our lives--bad stock investments,buy a crummy car, not renew our driver's license on time, forget to pay the power bill. That doesn't mean we should have a giant government agency stomp on everyone else JUST BECAUSE WE FEEL EMBARRASSED AND STUPID. I have been in several direct-selling businesses in my life, and I love it. I get to be my own boss, and choose who I will or won't do business with. Try that at Taco Bell or Hewlett-Packard or a government job and see how fast you are bounced out the door, or worse yet, sued because you refuse to deal with unreasonable people. I firmly believe that this is the greatest country on earth, because we have not only the freedom to succeed, but also to FAIL. But success or failure must come to us based on the merits of what we DO. There are no guarantees in this life. Just because you get a degree in finance doesn't make you rich. Running for office doesn't make you elected. Buying a Lottery ticket does not make you a winner! Just because you buy a starter kit from XYZ or ABC Company doesn't make you a company high-roller in six months. Okay, there it is. Please, PLEASE DO NOT IMPLIMENT THIS RULE.
