I have been with Jafra Cosmetics for 10 years and am very greatful for the way it has inhanced my life through travel opportunity, self-growth, income to send my children on trips they wouldn't have been able to take otherwise, camps, etc. It has helped me develope my self confidence. I have seen it make a difference in others lives. The changes that are proposed will hinder the growth of the direct selling business greatly. There may be a few who take advantage of situations, but the majority are honest, hardworking people. Please do not put such stipulations as stated in the proposal which will slow down growth and make people not interested in the business because of so much paper work and unnecessary information. I certainly don't care how many people have dropped their business in the last two years and don't think any new consultant will care either. In most businesses people come and go. There is always a turn around of workers. We are very honest and upfront when presenting the business structure and opportunity afforded everyone who is interested in building a business. Jafra is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. That is a huge milestone that not many companies can boast about. It is a strong company dedicated to the consultants, clients, hostesses, and anyone involved in the company. Please reconsider the seven day advance notice before someone joins the company. We have recruiting going on the very last day of any given month to help with branch sales, sponsoring gifts, rewards and just help getting people going in their own business. Those kinds of issues would slow business considerably. It would not add any benefits to the one starting their own business or the one helping them. It would not benefit Jafra in anyway. We try to get the word out all the times about watching for fraudulant activity from those making purchases and those selling. We work on educating consultants to know what to look for and avoid. I must say that I have not dealt with anyone dishonest who has requested a large quantity through an email because I ignore those requests. Thank you, in advance, for your support in not putting through the proposed Business Opportunity Rule.
