I have been a consultant with PartyLite Gifts for 7 years and believe that some of the things you are proposing would put undo hardship on my personal business and with PartyLIte. Since PartyLite has a no investment up front and offers to purchase back any product at a 90% buy back, there is no need for a 7 day waiting period. It would be very difficult to try to come up with the information of 10 consultants that are the closest to them for references. PartyLite would gladly offer that to anyone who requests it but I live in an area where there are not many consultants so I would be giving out names, addresses and phone numbers of people in other states and those people might not appreciate their information being passed around without their consent. For companies that are not as open as PartyLite or ones that charge start up fees I can see where you might want to put some regulations on them. This is my part time business and my daughter's full time business and we do not need any extra hardships as my daughter already has a daughter with a disability and needs no more complications.
