Thank you for the opportunity for letting me comment on the proposed Business Opportunity Rule-R511993. Now I understand the reasoning for the proposed rule. As a member of society I like the fact that the government is protecting my rights. However, this land was built on opportunities and the proposed rules hinders my ability to become independent. I became a distributor for a wonderful product called Xango. I have tried other products in the past and I find myself reeling in the marvel of the product. Not only do I drink it but now I am selling it to others. The opportunities have been wonderful. My experience with this company has been first class. I found it easy to join the team. My upfront investment is affordable and the product actually sells itself. But with this new rule that will change, plus having to wait 7 days before selling a single bottle doesnt make sense. What would my clients think? Also the portion regarding references? How would I obtain 10 nearest exisiting sales people if I work independently. I would have to rely on the manufacturer for that information which would place a huge burden on the manufacturer of the product I distribute. The bottom line I wish to convey is that not all direct sales are bad. I believe the government needs to identify those who's sole purpose is the defraud the general public and crack down on them while encouraging those people who work hard in a legitimate way. Also, having the opportunity to work for myself has given me great confidence. I believe bunching the two groups together will harm the basic fiber that makes up the fabric of this great country. Thank you again for giving me the chance to voice my opinion.
