Thank you in advance for consideration of the following comments. My husband and I have been I have been with XanGo for just over 2 years. In our 20 year marriage our involvement with the quality of product and integrity of this company has been one ot the highlights of our time together. As retired citizens we have found the extra income very beneficial. The health improvements and preventative and wellness aspects to us and our friends has no price tag. My husband was a TV executive for 40 years and a business coach during part of that time. The health benefits of XanGo has led him into the field of becoming a certified Health Coach as a way to help others achieve optimum health naturally. In a word, XanGo has "enriched" our lives in multiple ways. We appreciate your concerns for protecting this industry's integrity and do hope at the same time you will protect those of us who need to benefit from a legitimate direct seling business. After reading the proposed changes we are very concerned that these changes will complicate what is now for us a simple and rewarding business. Additonal record keeping and delays would certainly discourage retired people like us and others from enjoying the benefits of working from home to supplement income. XanGo allows Moms to stay at home with their children, affords better education for families and affords conveniences that in turnboosts this country's economy. XanGo's $35 membership fee is affordable to all and allows a level playing field of distributors. At conventions we meet many who have come from health or financial crisis with limited or extensive education to better health, financial security and self respect. This is a very gratifying business when we offer a legitimate product and business opportunity and then see positive results as we encourage and lead others as we have been encouraged and led by our team. Surely rules which apply to much higher investments should not apply to a company requiring such minimal dollars to own one's own business. As for the "earnings" claims, we have never shown our check or been shown a check by anyone or heard any misleading claims. Some seek to earn a few hundred extra to help out with monthly bills and others intend to take advantage of the full earning potential. This is left up to the individual's desire, skill levels and time allotment. Being a part of the XanGo team allows many to contribute more generously to their communities. Even XanGo itself gives 5-7% of its profits to children's charities around the world and has from day one. XanGo has been recognized for contributions to other situations including Katrina and Tsunami relief. With all due respect, we are unable to imagine the complication of requiring us to "disclose" other geographically near purchasers. Would this be akin to haveing a retail store required to disclose past local customer information to a prospective customer for purchasing a piece of furniture or grocery item? We strongly request that this not be a consideration on your part. As passionate as we are about this XanGo product and business model we are always eager to share our experiences with anyone. However this release of personal information could unleash more phone calls to our home than we would be able to comfortably handle. In summary, we are deeply concerned that the proposed changes to this industry could complicate our future success with XanGo because of cumbersome and impractical and time consuming requirements. Again, we appreciate your efforts to protect all of us who are engaged in legitimate business efforts. We have invested much time and effort into building for ourselves and others a way to earn income from home. More than that, we have seen many lives dramatically improved healthwise with this XanGo product. Please do not take that away from us and the rest of the world. Sincerely, Bob and Joan Clifft
