I have only been a consultant since Feb of 2006. I believe the company and my sponsor provided me with truthful an accurate information for me to make an informed decission in starting my own business. I was not rushed or pressured in anyway. All my questions were answers and are backed up it printed company materials. I do not want to be required to provide information about my business to local individuals unless I'm the one sponsoring that individual. I would not expect a stranger to provide their private business information to someone I'm sponsoring either. Partylite has a buy back policy and the oppurtunity to start your own business without financial risk. It is not a get rich scam! It is a wonderful business opportunity and a very legitament business. The not so legitament companies that you are striving to regulate will find a way around it. More regulations for the up and up companies just causes delays, unnecessary expense and rules. I am sponsoring my first person today, she asked me to help her get started in her own business. I have let her call me and go at her own pace. I also was not rushed and very comfortable about my decision to start my own business with this company! There are already regulations in place that are there to stop get rich quick scam business but obviously they manage to get around them. These proposed new rules will not stop them. How about enforcing the rules that are already in place! More regulations is not the answer.
