I STRONGLY SUPPORT THE PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY RULE! I have been the victim of unwanted charges appearing on my bank statement after I was told they would stop. I have also had to make repeated calls to the company in an attempt to get a refund that was promised at the time I signed up if I was not satisfied. I received many promises that the money would be refunded only to be disappointed when it didn't happen. It took months and I only received a partial refund. They are anxious to receive your money by very slow to refund it. The 7 day waiting period it excellent. So many of these decisions are made in the emotion of the moment surrounded by excited individuals who stand to benefit from your signing up. On further examination, the decision is not nearly as attractive. I also support disclosure of information that gives a more realistic picture of peoples experience including those who have requested and received refunds. I heartily endorse your proposed changes. Xango is sending out thousands of emails to their distributors to have them write emails to you opposing the changes. I am still on the mailing list I guess. But after reading the proposed changes and based on my short unpleasant experience with Xango. I thank you for making the businesses more responsible and accountable for the claims they make and methods they employ. I think many who feel they were deceived appreciate your efforts. Thank you.
