I am a independent consultant for PartyLite and I love what I do. PartyLite is a very good and honest company to work for. I have heard of your new regulations regarding a seven day waiting period and the ten required references to have someone start being a consultant. That's crazy. We have sales deadlines for one, so new consultants would miss out on great opportunities if the seven day waiting period is in effect. But the worse thing is the ten required references, not only is that an ivasion of privacy that I would have to give names and address of other consultants in the area for them to check on, but very time consuming for a secretaial aspect as we are a large company and I would have to contact the main office to try and get that information. I personally don't have the names and address of ten other consultants and I wouldn't want people/even other consultants to have my name and address available to them at any time. This would be a crazy regulations and really invade on people's privacy. Thank you for letting me air my opinion!
