I understand the need to protect the public from fraud. However, I am extremely concerned that my business will be unjustly, negatively impacted by such a new regulation passing. I am a homemaker and have found that PartyLite has provided me with the opportunity to earn an income and fulfill my dreams of closely raising my children. When I was searching for such an opportunity, I tried many different business and was a victim of fraud quite a few times. Businesses such as mailing that say they provide all items needed for a fee and only send an paper booklet after taking your money. Also, businesses such as Avon who advertise a certain achievable income, then in reality give lower percentages for various items so that the income advertised is never achievable. PartyLite has from the beginning been very straightforward and allowed me to earn the income that they always said I would. I understand the need to protect people from some organizations, but I stand against the this regulation being passed because it would stop others from experiencing the success that I've had working for PartyLite. This business works hard for their customers and their employees and enjoys a wonderful reputation for legitimacy. Thank you for your time. Shannon Serrano
