To Whom It May Concern, I am concerned about the proposed change in regulations regarding direct sales recruiting. While I understand the need to make sure unethical businesses do not take advantage of unsuspecting inividuals, I believe certain changes will harm good businesses. I am especially concerned about the posibility of needing ten references for interested parties wanting to start with my company. I believe a new or young company might need this but an established organization, such as PartyLite, should have it's business practices well established and already reviewed. There has got to be another way to make sure established and well known ethical companies can be shielded from this. Fraud is a very serious problem. Please don't hurt the good businesses in the process of getting rid of the bad ones. Thank you for considering my thoughts on this subject. Sincerely, Leisa Guay Independant Consultant PartyLite Gifts Inc.
