To whom it may concern. I am writing regarding the proposed Business Opportunity Rule. I perceive this rule to be a deterrent for many Americans who are making an honest living. I understand the presence of scam companies; however, throwing the hundreds of legitimate companies into the same bathwater (while you throw the baby out) will create a huge disservice to numerous Americans. If you cannot control such enterprises as ENRON how can this control the small guy. There are published guidelines which people can utilize to sort out legitimate opportunities. Americans also need to be held accountable for their own choices. Please back off on this one, before you destroy the livelihood of thousands who are handicapped, aged, or otherwise unable to participate in the workforce; as well as, the income of many entrepreneurs. The regulations ask more than any of us knows about our banking institution, car dealership, or baby sitter for that matter. Please find a way to get the "bad" guys without hurting the good ones. Sincerely, Linda MIlam
