This is to comment on the proposed Business Opportunity Rule before you. I have been in direct sales/network marketing for more than 30 years and have a comfortable lifestyle for me and my family as a result. I have assisted numerous other people in doing the same. The proposed rule will have a negative affect upon me and the many people I have assisted over the years in continuing building their independent businesses. We are generating our own incomes and paying our taxes accordingly without public assistance. Our industry is providing businesses for the average person who normally would be prohibited from doing so financially. We have success after success in our industry and I am concerned why the need to disturb what is working. I strongly request that this rule not be acted upon and put in place.
