I am opposed to the 7 day wait period to enroll new distributors. You would have to make your sale twice, 3 day right to rescind a contract has always worked as a sufficient grace period. I oppose disclosing my earnings, as with any business time and effort invested reaps money earned, this is a common sense fact. I oppose the release of information regarding previous litigation, all info is available if someone chooses to seek it out via public records, internet and many other means. As far as references, I work very hard to keep my clients info safe and secure, why would I want to divulge this information. With written request from potential client and written approval by existing clients we would be able to satisfy a client's request when deemed necessary. With the advancement of the computer age, network marketing has increasingly proven to be a viable way to build a business from home, which in turn adds to household income which enables us to financially survive in a tight economic environment. Network marketing is now being implemented by blue chip corporations including Citigroup, IBM, MCI. Top business management and best selling authors Steve Covey and Robert Kiyosaki are also endorsing the practice. I am currently involved with assorted MLM companies providing a variety of products. As with all business, ultimately the consumer has a choice. Without this extra income, I could very well become a financial casualty, with the added responsiblity of caring for my elderly parents and trying to get a child through college. All things important to the overall economic health of our country. I understand and value the role of the FTC's mission " to stand up for America's free market process and for it's consumers, who benefit from competitive markets in which truthful information flows." However I believe this new rule exceeds what is necessary. With significant modifications this rule can benefit both the network marketer and the consumer. I think a standard 3 day right to rescind is substantial as with any other contract. I hope you will consider my opinion as your new will adversely affect my finances. Thank You, Manina Prince
