I certainly appreciate your efforts in weeding out bad companies that prey on the public, however, how will you know who is legitimate and who isn't? Will the bad companies give you accurate information? I sincerely doubt it. I've experienced that bad companies don't last very long anyway. Possibly a better solution is to ensure that a company and its owners have a positive track record over a number of years, and those who are starting up would post some sort of bond to be held for a period of time until a track record is proven. Wouldn't this be more of an assurance against fraud? Another point that concerns me is I'm a small time MLMer. My sponsor is in California, and I have customers in Maryland as well as where I live in Florida. How do I find out where the 10 nearest sales people are? I fear some might find out if someone is close to them and then try to have them switch sponsorships. I think this could lead to some very unethical practices plus compromise the main companies ability to protect their customers. Protecting the public from unethical people and practices is a very noble cause by the FTC, but there comes a time when it's unnecessary to protect people from themselves. Thank You
