I have taught classes at various government agencies and I see how things are run. There is no way that I want more government regulation of an industry that no one in government knows anything about. If there was anyone at the FTC that had any idea about how to run a business or anything about Network Marketing and they were working with leaders in the industry to make these laws then I would have no problem with new laws to protect people. But as with the do not call list or gun control laws, the only people who are hurt or hampered are the small people trying to do things legally. I want less government control not more. Network Marketing is one of the few ways for the average person to make a decent, even great income. Don't take that away by putting chains on the companies that are doing things legally. The scams and illegal companies will keep going and doing what they always have and it will not slow them down one bit. The good guy is the one that will get hurt. As a government employee you don't understand trying to get by on the wages that are paid. Insurance, gas, rent... everything is going up, but wages are not. If we can't get out and make money in some other way, we will not be able to survive. Don't kill this market and opportunity for us.
