Comments:The proposed changes that are about to be made to direct sales could not only greatly affect the income of my business it could also affect the oppurtunity that awaits another. I believe that the company I work for has the highest integrity and goals for all of it's consultants. IT is witnessed by their creed "Always wanting FOR, but no FROM each other".... There maybe some need as far as other direct sales companies for a regulation that prompted making these changes.... I would say that the current proposal to hold back the ability for a person to begin working is not only going to affect my income but their's too..... For the record my region has a policy to NOT just RECRUIT for the sake of numbers. We work very closely in teams, we collect money from customers, and we deliver a service that we like to carry a reputation with it..... FOR that matter, not everyone that expresses interest in our business is gathered UP! I conisder the way I work and the others around me for the process to be more like an interview on both sides. In any other market and/or business if you gave the "new employee" a waiting period from the time that Hiring began till the actual time they could begin to get paid what would happen to our economy? You cannot risk for this kind of regulation when you realize that YOU ARE WITHOLDING someone's right to a paycheck! This I assume is NOT your goal, so I suggest you look deeper into the myriads of direct sales companys that are out there and further question WHO, and WHAT needs to change. I will tell you this from the Perspective of a PartyLite Candle consultant. I have sold Avon, Tupperware, and Even Fuller Brush. I have been approached years ago by the likes of AMWAY, and now recently ARBON. Avon and Tupperware, Fuller Brush were nice companies to work for and I did earn, but their benefits to me were not as great as that of Partylite. Plus my cost's as a Partylite consultant are lower for me to operate than the others..(Papper work. extra charges,and NO startup FEE's) Second it is the rule of the company NOT to show you those non-discript people forming that pyramid and saying see how it grows? Partylite gives us the choice for income without the pressure or the literature to give anyone the idea that they MUST bring in MORE in order to earn... I know a girl who sells over 2000.00 a month in Product in a month each month. That is all she intends to do, she will not enter leadership or "add to her team" at any point I believe. Of course things change, but that is her choice and the leadership or the company do NOT put mandates ON THAT recruiting..... I was, to give you an adverse and totally bad experiece just approached by ARBON (spellin?). They emailed me on how to work. I was to leave a product sample with someone and come back and see how they liked it... My goal was to then get them to buy it which I WAS told they ALL will DO...... THEN I should the benefits of the MEMBERHIP of ARBON and I can get my wrinkle reducer cheaper. THIS Membership enabled me to have cheaper product for my own use WHEN I brought 4 People IN AS MEMBERS that also would like MEMBERSHIP etc, etc..... In difference I do NOT offer the ability to work on MY TEAM/UNIT so that I get MY PRODUCT cheaper. I offer it because of the income levels they can choose for themselves, and which direction they wish to take their JOB levels within our company. FOR a Partylite Consultant their income levels are entirely up to themselves. THE MOST important point is I DID NOT Have to buy my way into a position with this company.... I did a show and I bought myself a pack of pens. Partylite does NOT charge you to begin, and there are NO Purchases required, OR #'s of people you must bring membership to and "SIGN UP".... THE Paperwork I need to operate with this company is 4.95 a month for an unlimited amount to work?! DO YOU REALLY what to tell someone they cannot start earning an INCOME UNTIL day "X"?
