I am a 19 year old college student and have been a Quixtar IBO for 2 years now. My parents have been quixtar IBO's for 7 years now. This business has been an imensely positive aspect in my life, allowing me every opportunity I could ever imagine to succeed in life and help others do the same. When I was registered, I undoubtedly recieved ample information to make an informed decision, and the people I register are informed, as well. I believe that the 7-day waiting period will unfairly hamper my business. I run and operate a million dollar fitness center, and in no aspect of that do I have any type of restriction, I feel it would be unfair to put this on Quixtar businesses. Being required to provide refrences also is extremely unfair and violates the right to privacy that IBO's currently have. As to the litigation list, does every doctor, lawyer, and businessman have to do this as well. Of course not, that would totally destroy our means of free enterprise. All in all, I feel these statutes would provide unfair restrictions on a legitimate and positive business opportunity. I feel illegal, unfair businesses should have such restrictions, but they shouldn't even be allowed to operate, but this business model has proven itself for over 50 years now and I don't feel it should be unfairly hampered.
