To Whom it May Concern, As an Independant Business Owner of Quixtar.com I would like to make a personal statement regarging the new rule that has been proposed for all US business opportunities. My experience with Quixtar.com has been nothing but a great one. As an IBO I would like to state my opinion on the proposed rule. I do agree that there should be a rule to provide a simple, and standardized income disclosure that would apply to all direct sellers. I aslo agree that there should be a way to provide a good cancellation policy. What I DO NOT agree with is that before a prospect can register there has to be: a seven-day waiting period, IBO references on past litigations, and financial records to be disclosed. I know that these are all for the protection of the prospects as consumers and potential business owners from "scams" and other "pyramid schemes". However, to my understanding and knowledge, Quixtar has always been in good standings with you and other legal sources. To my knowledge, it has been monitored by many sources to verify that it is a legal multi-level business opportunity and that the compensation plan is fair and legal. I think suits and litigations have mostly been against IBO's for nonsense reasons. I have never had any problems with Quixtar.com itself. They are a legitimate company. They are fair. Any "good" , profitable, and sucessful company or business will always have a lawsuit against it. That's a given. Lets face the truth. One of the ways americans think they can be financially free is to sue somebody. I think people are lazy. So I feel that those past ligitations should not have to be provided. Let them look it up online for that. YOU know we are a good business. One that is growing fast and is booming in the world of Internet. This would hurt not only MY business but millions of others. This would slow us down on our sponsoring rate. I feel it would dicourage prospects because of the time between contact with them and registration is so long. If you haven't read our disclosures statements on our website in our registration section, I think you should. I feel it explains enough to the prospect to make a pretty good "educated decision". Thank you for you support over the past years for all of us IBO's. Please consider our opinions on the proposal. Thank you. Independant Business Owner Quixtar.com
