I have been a Quixtar Independent Business Owner (IBO) for 2 years. The benefits surpass moneytary income to include personal growth, a better self image, a marriage with more common ground and shared experiences, and deep friendships with other IBO's. This opportunity has allowed our family to supplement the income from my job and improve our lifestyle based on personal effort. I have a greater sense of control in life and appreciation for the entreprenuerial American spirit. When I was originally contacted about this opportunity, my sponsor provided me with a clear, standardized profit model; including average monthly income based on volume created through my personal use of products/services and retail profit. I then attended an open seminar where the business was presented in greater detail by a leader on the team. There I met IBOs involved (other than my immediate sponsor) as well as those also considering the busines opportunity and questions were entertained. I paid $165.00 to join with a clear understanding and reasonable expectations of what the business offered my family. As I share this business opportunity with others I am open about the profit potential and honestly share my personal experience. I clearly let them know that this is not a get rich quick plan but that with proper work habits and goal setting, great rewards are attainable. I assume a personal responsibility to assist my business team in acheieving their individual goals. Based on the fact that guest are invited to weekly seminars to see the plan after the initial presentation, and there meet other IBOs; I feel that personal privacy need not be violated by providing an itemized list of references with contact information. My prospects are also shown a standardized profit model, eliminating the need to disclose personal finacial records. My prospect's income potential is in no way determined or limited by my personal earnings, it is based on their individualized efforts. The seven day waiting period would hinder the earning potential of prospects because after deciding to join they would not be able to earn any income for at least seven days waiting without cause. This would also cause unneccessary cost to my business as I travel out of state in my spare time to build my business. I would have to make the initial visit to present the plan then return seven days later to register my prospect, then wait seven days and visit again to register their family and friends. Prospects are given an opportunity not a guarantee but if they are not satisfied with the business they are able to get a refund of their registration fees within the first six months, this 180 day guarantee also applies to products purchased from Quixtar, no questions asked. I believe that the proposed litigation list should not include cases found to be without merit because that could place my business in a negative light without just cause. I appreciate your efforts to eliminate fraudulent companies and the option to share my personal opinions. However as the presenter of a home based business opportunity, my rights and privacy should be respected. I share all pertinent information regarding how income is earned using a standardized profit model and I leave liturature with my prospects to study at leisure in my absence. They are invited to a seminar where they meet other prospects and IBOs with various levels of experience. Then, after they are registered, they can track and estimate thier income via the internet at any time. I also make myself available as their mentor, teaching them through my personal example and using CDs, books, local, and regional seminars. There are no imposed quotas so all moneytary investments are strictly voluntary and made with a clear understanding of potential return on investment. I trust Quixtar based on personal experience in my 2 years of business with them. They stand behind every claim, every service/product offering, and I stand behind them.
