The proposal on the Business Opportunity Rule is a good idea yet I would like to share some of my Experiences as a quixtar IBO for the last year. There are some rules in the proposal that I and many other IBOS feel would hinder honest, and sincere business owners like me. I am 21 and I've been with quixtar in the Samaratunga organization for a little over a year. I have personally sponsered over 10 people so far and my current goal for this month is to hit 1000 points with my team with my customers that just buy from me as well. This is about a $250+ check every month. Ive hit 600 points in the past before and have kept money from wholesale retail from selling products as well. Overall my experience with my team and quixtar has been more appreciation and greatness this last year. Not only does it offer me an opportunity to get into business for myself without having to quit my day job but Because of the education and books I read through the business, I was able to get a great paying job because the manager liked my Attitude. I've never had a group of friends so close like the ones I do in my business. The proposal has a few rules that I believe would need some changing or deletion. First of all, the 7 day wait period that is proposed for sponsering should not be required if the company has a 180 day money back guarentee. Quixtar does provite that for the products and my team provides the same for any educational material bought. From my own experience most prospects have looked at the business 7 days before sponsering but some want to sponser right away. If I were required to deny that to a person, I would have them wait a whole week without talking business to him. This hinders relationship building with my new partner because most people forget what the business is even about after just 4 days if I cannot remain in contact with them. Also I don't see how this would be enforced. The honest Direct Selling Businesses might follow it but I think dishonest, fraudulent ones would ignore it. Lastly, the litigation listing for the last 10 years on the company. I always try to give my prospects good history on the success of Quixtar as well as knowledge that there are some critics of the business. I make sure to tell them that quixtar is run by independent business owners who are people and some can be dishonest and won't follow the rules. I think this is enough for any prospect to know. If they want to do their own research they can, but providing them a list of accusations that may be false/true is totally unneccessary, all it does is serve the prospect to discouragement for the honest businesses, more then it hurts the actual fraudulent businesses. I always tell the prospects to meet most of my team and make the decision whether they feel we are honest, and sincere before signing up or being sponsered. Please take these two rules and not include them in the proposal. The way I have run my business is that I have never had anyone verbally quit my team. While I have some that are inactive, which means they don't participate in the business building, or they just buy products now. All those people have great relationships with me because they love being just customers or they are waiting for later times to build the business. Thanks
