Dear Federal Trade Commission Member: I have read the proposals and agree with them 100%. I am an independent consultant for PartyLite and I wish some of the requirements being proposed had been in effect when I signed up. There really should be some sort of laws to protect people who get pressured into things simply for the profit of others. I would really like to see companies required to give a disclosure statement and a 7 day wait to sign up potential new consultants. It would mean no one could be pressured into a sign up and would have all the information they need to decide what's right for themselves.
