My name is George Davis. I have been an independent business owner for 12 months. During that time I have been able to vastly improve my life. The business training that came along with me being involved with this organization has been second to none; however that has not been the most important part. Never before in my life have I met a more genuine group of people than through the Quixtar organization. The organization I am apart of is built on character, honesty, and, integrity. When I first decided to register as an independent business owner I checked this out for over two months. I was never pressured to join or do anything, but it came to be that the more I was able to associate with the people in this business the more I wanted to get registered simply so I could upgrade my association and become the type of person that I knew deep down inside I could be. From a business standpoint coming into this organization I knew this was going to take some effort. Nothing in life comes for free. That is another thing that attracted me to this business in the first place. I finally was able to see what I was made. For less than one hundred and seventy five dollars you can become an independent business owner complete with the backing of a multi-billion dollar organization and scores of internationally recognized affiliate partners. A seven day waiting period, in my opinion, is silly. If I want to go shopping at a circuit city or a Barnes and Noble I don't have to wait seven days. Why should I have to wait seven days if I found a way to receive a bonus from the purchases that I am already making at these stores? As far as giving the names and numbers and addresses of at least ten other business owners in the area is a violation other Ibo’s privacy. That should not be a rule. On a weekly basis a prospect is able to meet with talk to and network with hundreds of other Ibo’s in the area already. Last time I went to apply for a job the employer didn't have to give me the names addresses and phone numbers of ten employees that were in the closest proximity to me. Neither did they have to give me a list of every lawsuit filed against them within the past ten years. That’s just crazy. I mean I understand letting people know what they are about to get into, but some of these policies and regulations are unnecessary. Your intentions are very good though. I know that this is being proposed to weed out fraudulent organizations that give the direct-selling industry a bad name but let’s sit back and think about how this will affect and possibly hurt the very individuals that is meant to protect
