RE: Business Opportunity Rule, R511993 Dear Sirs, As an independent FreeLife International Marketing Executive who has developed my business with nutritional products that help so many people, I strongly oppose the new business opportunity rule being promoted by the FTC and others at 16 CFR 437. The rule seems to be an example of big government interefering with private enterprise and restricting the freedom for the average people to legally and legitimately pursue the American Dream. The intentions of the bill appears that it would inhibit some scam businesses, but history shows those charlatans will find a way to operate around or in spite of any proposed laws. This rule would so negatively impact my legitimate business with delays, excess costs, recordkeeping, so hampering my business mission in helping more and more people obtain better health and wellness. My Corporate Headquarters at FreeLife International provides more then is required in providing statistic, incomes earned from low to high, countries statistics, and will alway be an upright and focused on their mission to help raise the level of health and wellness worldwide. This rule would not only greatly restrict and oppress and jepordize our businesses, but also the many other legitimate businesses in our home-based industry as well. Proposed rules should enhance business opportunities and support the American Dream and not suppress it. The scam companies need to be reported to the FTC, prosecuted and made an example of what other illegitimate businesses might experience for their underhanded practices. The smaller minority of illegitimate operations should not so disrupt and oppress so many lives and legitimate businesses in this very negative way. Please, stand for the American businesses and keep our American freedoms intact and know very many are against this ineffective and detrimental rule. Sincerely, Galen Nelson FreeLife International Marketing Executive
