Federal Trade Commission I am concerned with the new proposal that will affect the direct selling industry. I. I agree that there should be clear and concise information on how income is developed and income brackets to be achieved, but requiring business owners to provide prospects with personal financial documents as evidence to income claims is a violation of our privacy. II. Also, I believe that the proposed requirement to provide prospects with a listing of all litigations against an entity, despite false accusations and legal outcomes, is ridiculous. I do not see where that is in the best interest of the individuals that you are trying to protect. Not to mention, dishonest groups will ignore this ruling while honest groups will abide and look the worse for it. III. It is an injustice to individuals to impose the limits of a seven day waiting period on new prospects to register themselves into a business. As long as there are requirements in place, which there is, for reasonable cancellation, this proposed requirement is not necessary and will only hinder serious individuals who want to get a business started.
