Hello! I wanted to send in my comments about he new FTC proposed rules affecting direct selling. While I agree that companies should not charge high fees for signing up (out of which the sponsor makes a large percentage), and that they prospects should be informed of the actual income potential, I believe Quixtar does this already. We make about $2 for signing someone up and on all of our documents there's a box that says that one out of 115 IBO's actually achieved the income levels listed as a potential. But to require prospects to have 7 days until they can sign up is totally useless. The ones that are excited will sign up anyway and the ones that are not won't. And requiring IBO's to reveal to them their personal income is a total invasion of personal privacy- and a flagrant attack on common-sense business practices. Also, requiring the sponsor to provide 10 referrals is ridiculous- what if the sponsor has just sign up today and wants to sign up his first person? I hope this makes sense. Thank you very much for your consideration. Anca Saccaro Quixtar Independent Business Owner
