I agree with the FTC's attempt to rid free enterprise of the get rich quick schemes and pyramid/ponzi schemes. The proposed bill is an attempt to regulate this. Unfortunately, we are in a business that is in no way one of those schemes, yet this bill would effect us. The bill should not require that all IBO's disclose their personal income. That is my business and the government's business, not the general public. The second the bill should not contain is all lawsuits, etc that have been filed against IBO's or the company. Mcdonalds is not required to post their lawsuits on their front door or in front of someone they are about to hire. This is an unfair business practice and also encourages legal action and while glorifying it. Finally, this bill should not require a 7 day waiting period. There is no reason for it. The consumer is given the information necessary to make a decision and is in no way pressured. 7 days is ridiculous. I work for a fortune 500 company and if we had to wait 7 days to hire an employee, it would be a joke. The operation could not function. Please make these changes.
