Dear FTC, I have been a VICE PRESIDENT and independent consultant for 19 years with Arbonne. It has changed my life. Not only financially being able to make substantial income from my home and being a good mother while raising our two boys but to help me develop as a loving resposible human being. This opportunity is life changing. The fact that some people dont follow the rules should not be reason to punish all of us as a whole. I was attracted to Arbonne because of the integretity of the products that actually work and the company that stands behind them. There are always bad apples out there and we can not go around treating every company as if they are bad. There are bad politicians, bad goverment officials, bad lawyers and bad car salesmen and doctors.....We cant group them all into one catagory and penalize all our businesses for what they do. We are offering a way for people to literally change their circumstances in life if they CHOOSE to do what is required. They are rational adults and make their own decisions whether or not to start their own business and get the tools they need to do so. Noone goes after McDonalds if that franchise fails and is poorly run or GM when a car dealer is crooked and fails......The 7 day waiting period sends a red flag to people looking at this wonderful opportunity.. WE DONT EVEN HAVE A 7 DAY WAIT TO BUY A GUN. I love this business and cant imagine not doing it. I will probably never retire from it. It builds people up and changes them for the better. I have built my business with integrity and am not resposible if someone else that hasnt. Having a waiting period and disclosing lawsuits will greatly impact our ability to share this opportunity with integrity it makes us look guilty. I was sued frivolously while being a VOLUNTEER for the school board levy the only people that got rich were the lawyers. There is no way to know if lawsuits have a sound basis and that isnt a fair meter to judge a company by. Crazy people sue for crazy things and that is their right I guess. Please dont put these restrictions on our legitimate business. If anything some companies do need to be regulated as to what they can claim and that is all. It's the individual companies NOT the direct selling industry as a whole that is the problem. Please consider my request, this business works if you do the work. It is very rewarding and fullfilling. I am VERY proud to be a part of it. Janine Kaltenstein
