I am a distributor of EcoQuest, Intl. and have been for 8 years. This is a multi level marketing company and has provided a career and opportunity for our family that has kept us financially off any welfare roles, or asking for any government handouts. The company disclosed all information when I joined and has NEVER promised or guaranteed any financial gain frauduently. Business opportunities that are legitimate, and there are many, far outweigh the frauds out there and any ruling disclosing our associates, customers or any info about the people involved will cause much fear and rejection by those that do not understand that there are legitimate companies that can teach, train and help someone create a business from a home office and with hard work and perseverance and do it honestly and legally. R511993 will cause excessive paperwork, can be used by frauds, violates privacy issues and does not distinguish between the civil and criminal cases to the general public. For all these years, doing what I do, I have helped many people and would like to continue to do this. Without this business opportunity we would have been on the welfare roles. This ruling would unfairly target legitimate direct selling businesses and is not what is needed. This ruling would ultimately destroy my business and cause much financial destruction. I implore you to reconsider this ruling and allow me and those like me, that are honest, hardworking and reliable business people to continue as we have been without adding this hardship to us.
