I have been an IBO contracting with Quixtar for 9 yrs and have reached a Platinum level and am working toward retirement from my medical practice in the next several years, a goal that would have been impossible without this business model. It has allowed my need for flexibility and team support. As with any business opportunity, I did my due diligence in investigating my team and the corporation and was presented with a significant amount of information concerning the opportunity to build my own business. I was duly informed that this would require significant work on my part, but I would have the support and mentorship of other IBO's to help me, and I have received that and much more. I was made aware of the average income of an active IBO repeatedly. When I, or any of my team contacts and sponsers anyone into our businesses, the new prospect is told repeatedly that this is a business and will require a learning curve, apprenticeship to master and learn leadership principles, and that hard work is required, as in all business situations. Success is largely a measure of preseverence and guts and not guarenteed. New IBO"s are taken thru an orientation and apprenticeship designed to teach basic business principles and the realities of the industry they are getting involved in. IBO's on our team will spend around $150 for registration with Quixtar and products. They are fully informed and have copies of all contacts with the corporation and their team with costs discussed up front. These cost are refundable should the prospect change their mind. As to the proposed seven day waiting period I feel that people be given the responsiblity to do their due diligence reguarding investigation of a new business, I don't believe they need hand holding govenment regulations required 7 day waiting; they can take the time they want anyway. Why make my business restricted and treat them like children. I give them the Better Business listing and they can check out prior claims and issues for themselves. I give them detailed explainations of how much an average IBO makes and tell them where I am in the business as well and it is my right to do so not a regualtion telling me to. MY medical income is my business to share and no one is telling me to tell my parients how much I make nor should they. THIS IS A LEGIT BUSINESS; crippling my ability to create income by waiting periods, requiring references, and financial statements should NOT be made manditory. Stop treating people like children. THe business is and should always be a level playing field, with clear, concise disclosures. Standardized income disclosures should be given and explained. There should be a cancellation policy that is reasonable and should repect the intelligence of those wishing to conduct business that is legal, moral, and ethical. I have been totally awed by the integrity of the business plan and corporation behind it for all 9 years. I wish I could say the same about medicine, wish you'd focus more attention there! Please be very careful in infringing on our rights to conduct business and don't add suspicion and concern where it's not necessary. Its business where you only lose if you want to, and its in fact really hard to lose anything with Quixtar, but I suppose some people will work at it and then blame anyone but themselves for their lack of due diligence and interest in beginning a business. It isn't a get rich quick deal and if thats how people treat it they'll get what they put into it which is usually nothing. Don't penalize those of us who have chosen to make this a way of obtaining a measure of freedom by helping others get what they want first. Support fair practice and disclosure, and a level playing field for anyone with guts and a dream to be more. Isn't that what this country has been trying to protect and promote? I got into medicine to help people and I got into this business because without money there is no health, don't cripple my business please
