Dear FTC, It is to our benefit that you help people identify business operate without integrity. As a Ruby IBO with over 33 years experience in this business (Amway then Quixtar) I am extremely proud of how we operate. I have NEVER had anyone claim they were mislead in anyway. I understand how the currently considered rules might sound good but they would be very damaging to my business, my family and those who we intend to help. We currently encourage all prospects to visit several internet sites which give them a clear picture of what the business is about, what they will have to do to reach each level of income and what help they should expect. They are also ALWAYS informed that they will be required to do nothing. If they want to build this business it takes about $200 to start (none of which do I get) and they can get over $100 back if they choose to quit. Bottom line... There is NO benefit to me to deceive anyone to get them in. They eventually quit; it cost me time and money; our opportunity gets a bad name and it is against Quixtar's and WorldWide's standards. In my 33+ years of operation NOT ONE person whom I have exposed to this opportunity (whether they joined or declined the invitation) would have benefited in any way from the current proposed rules. HOWEVER, several of these rules likely would have caused some (if not many) to not pursue the opportunity out of misunderstanding and fear. This would have been most unfortunate for them and those they have helped. Thank you for seeking wisdom in this far-reaching move. I believe if done 'right' certain rules will help all... if done wrong they will hurt many more than they might help. We are looking to you to help us not hurt us. We ARE doing what is right and honorable. Sincerely, Bill O'Brallahan
