First and foremost, I completely agree that adding some new guidelines to the FTC will help hinder illegal practices and "get rich quick" schemes. My husband and I think that this is a wonderful idea. After several hours of discussing the proposed rules - we have come to several conclusions. I have decided to focus on two main topics that we seemed to have the most interest in. We believe that proving our Quixtar income is an infringement on our rights as business owners. We do keep files of our checks and offer to show them to anyone who asks. However, if we are asked how much we make, we always predict into the next month. For example, last month we made $600, but this month - because of hitting a new bonus bracket - there is a good possibility that we will double that income. We also realize that this income is completely based on our business structure (width versus depth) - therefore we might be making a figure that is completely different from someone who has the same amount of volume going through their business - but is structured differently. We also do not agree with having to provide every court claim that Quixtar has against them - whether valid or invalid. As a multi billion dollar company, Quixtar has lots of supporters as well as critics. This would be like providing every person who goes into Walmart - claims of people who have fallen because of slippery floors, or have been robbed outside of the store - and decided to sue the store. Or telling each McDonalds patron, that people have choked on the food - or spilled hot coffee on themselves - and blamed McDonalds. As well, we use Quixtar as a supplier - but our new 'recruits' so to speak, deal with us - not the entire company - or other business owners from a different line of sponsorship. As a solution, my husband and I both agree that we would be more than willing to give a recruit any information that might be detrimental to his personal line of sponsorship. This information would be helpful for a prospect, because they would be working directly with us - and might want to transfer to another line of sponsorship. Thanks for your time. I hope this feedback has helped. I look forward to seeing the results in the near future. Jenae and Jason Kaska
