Hello, I am a Quixtar IBO and would like to comment on the proposed to requirement to make IBO's give a list of references to prospects prior to registration. There are several reasons I strongly disagree with this idea: 1) This is akin to asking an employer to provide (to a prospective employee) information on 10 other companies who are hiring. Although the sponsor/prospect relationship is obviously not an employer/employee situation, it DOES still force the IBO to promote his competetion and give them a chance to *steal* his potential business volume. 2) I am busy enough trying to build my own business. I will not invest my time into a competitor's prospect. In fact, what's my motivation to give the competitor's prospect accurate information? I could easily make a conscious effort to encourage the prospect to NOT sign up with my competitor. This would actually be in my business's best interests (less competition on the market). The same could be done to one of my prospects by a competitor. 3) I personally do not want my name, phone number, address, etc. being given out to strangers that I haven't met. This is just asking for trouble, especially if the perception is that these are "successful IBO's who are making some money." If that wasn't the perception, then that makes for pretty bad references. For these reasons, I urge you to remove this section of the Rule. Thank you, Robb Hanner
