Legal,Ethical,Tax Paying home bussinesses are the backbone of our country. I feel that there should be a level playing field requiring clear, simple, standardized income disclosures that apply to all direct sellers. It should provide a reasonable cancellation policy. It should NOT require a 7 day waiting period before a prospect could register or require financial records to be didclosed to prospects. This would put an undue burden on honest opportunities which would help many many people but the dishonest would not change and comply with the new rules anyway hoping not to get caught.I also run a successful traditional 70 year old family retail business and added the direct selling business as a way of helping people who were not blessed with a family or an education that I received. The items I listed as undue burden would eliminate the possibility of someone like myself because of time constraints.
