To Whom It May Concern: I am sending this in regards to your proposed "Trade Regulation Rule on Business Opportunities." My husband and I run a very honest business with integrity and we are completely in support of your position that every business prospect should have the information needed to make an informed decision. There are many at-home business that have been shown to be fraudulent and it gives legitimate businesses a bad reputation...in that aspect, we support the proposal. HOWEVER, I would not want to see properly run business suffer due to specific provisions of the FTC proposal that would penalize honest independent business owners and cripple their efforts to participate in the free enterprise system.
