To whom it may concern, I am glad to know that measures are being taken to protect honest enterpreneurs in their business endeavors, however, may I just request a change. I am a new IBO with Quixtar. I love this business opportunity. I have found several costumers, and am working to establish a good and profitable business, such as several of my peers have done. Having said that, it is challenging to develop this business. I have concerns with several of the aspects of the proposed rules. I will only mention a couple though. I work a job at a successful restaraunt. Is my employer required to give his income info to me if I am interested in the possibility of becoming a franchise owner? Well, It would be a violation of my own privacy to be required to give out that info, or that info for any of my mentors, or sponsors. I know some are successful, and others seem to never make any substantial income through this business, but the same is true with any enterpreneurial endevor. The current requirement to give out the average income for "active" IBO's is sufficient. The next issue is the waiting period for signing on after giving disclosures. I love this business. I could hardly wait to sign on after I learned of it. I have grown to love it more ever since. Please don't pass rules which will stomp out the fire in a hopefulls heart. If a hopeful prospect wants to become an IBO, one of the most difficult times is immediately after registration. That is the time that some people, who once seemed like friends, suddenly become your tempters. Having invested in the business early on provided a bulwark of committment for me. Don't pass counterproductive legislation. Thank you again for your interest in honest, lawful free-enterprise. Please, pass good, productive rules. But, don't pass rules which constrict out the energy of new IBO's, which IBO's are the future of this majestic enterprise. Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron
